Angels and Demons... Nassau...
Two concepts... One Vision...
Angels and Demons, can only be described as a concept that will simply take your breath away! - A unique dining experience... It consists of two very separate ideas, Angels on the inside, and Demons on the outside, Angels, is conceived under one umbrella - Freedom! Demons, gives the patron the chance to be dictated to and satisfied both at the same time... 'As an Angel you look down on the world, as a Demon... you look down and see yourself...'
Imagine a vision of the world beyond your inhibitions. A place where purity is celebrated day and night and your every indulgence is catered too without a second thought... No menu means you order what you like, when you like and have the option to be an Angel and share! The environment is crisp and cool with a view of the world that will simply take your breath away. Come one, come all, indulge in innocence and exercise your right to choose to explore the paradise in a way you want too. An environment that celebrates light and freedom. Glass, wood, and sea foam cement with blonde white finishes. The bar and the cabaret style dining area are separated by a ribbon walkway leading through a brief transition (The Map Room) and then outside to the inverted exterior concept, Demons... Sensuality is achieved through colours, music, menus, surfaces, design concept and temperature controls. Patrons have to feel encouraged to sit where they want, order what they want (indulging in the No Menu concept) and share their private indulgences. It is a space for simply blissful collaboration... The total area will include an entrance, a hybrid facade, signage, The Dining Area, The Bar, Walkway, The Northern Hemisphere (The Map Room), and a small dancing area for late nights and weekends. Design includes light tables (adjustable), chairs, flatware and table service. Staff uniforms are either servant or Bedouin style with an emphasis on form, and at least one layer for late nights, and on the rare occassion... cooler weather. The floor is a controlled digital concept protected by a plexi-glass. The floor is made up of screens displaying real-time scenes from maps.google.com's keyhole satellite photography. Real time scenes from places such as London, Paris, Milan and New York, or indeed anywhere in the world, will be beamed to the screens to complete the illusion that the patrons are indeed in a celestial environment. An open environment that celebrates light and freedom but is strong to the brand values of sensuality and mystery. The exterior has an open plan reception area. The interior is an overall concrete finish concept with blonde wood and sea foam colouring (almost white with a hint of jade). The bar stretches down one side in the concrete finish. Stools line the Bar which extends to beyond the transition, to the pool outside. Design details also include graphics for walls and a transition entrance 'Abandon Faith All Ye Who Enter' (Dante), greets the patrons as they go outside to the inverted concept, Demons. A feeling of transition is required in the colouring as well as the physical barrier itself. It is open completely, and separates the two spaces completely. The Bar is fluid in design. The ribbon walkway is continuous to extend to the water's edge. The overall menu concept is first come, first serve, have whatever you like! - An inverted buffet is an empty table where food is prepared under the share option and is placed for buffet patrons as well as on the 'specials' menu. No menu means complete catering to a patrons indulgence. Angels is conceived under that very umbrella, Freedom! The total area hosts two simply magnificent venues. Angels, is the interior bathed in light and inspired by innocence and freedom. The patron helps to decide the atmosphere as well as the menu... Demons is...
Demons, lets the world out to experience their own personal vision of darkness. With strict design lines and a decadent menu of indigenous cuisine, the Demons concept gives the patron the chance to be dictated to and satisfied at the same time. An infinity pool is open for relaxation and expression. Fire is the only source of light. Mist pods and fans provide relief from the heat... The environment is bold and beautiful. It encourages privacy and selfishness. Exclusivity is achieved with cabana style borders and a staff that is both quiet and servile and appropriately camouflaged. Aspire to experience desire at what will seem like the end of the world, but could lead you to a new one that you'll just love! Moorish and South Asian influences. Strong and sturdy geometrical shapes, dark hued textiles and carvings. All on a black cement finish complete with a black cement infinity pool. Up to ten (10) boat moorings at one end facing the dark environment outside... Inside is a light behind a vision. A stark comparison to the dark environment. People will know the difference by sight. They will ask 'what is that little green marble?' - (The Map Room, signage on the transition as it welcomes the patron from a distance). Tables are separated by tabletop candelabras and open flames, chairs, flatware and tableware are all seafood specific. Crab and shrimp forks, crackers, bread and butter is never ending. Sun water is served constantly. The menu is indigenous with fresh seafood, conch salad in the conch shell, fresh crabs (whole or blanched), decadent combinations/rock shrimp with champagne and vanilla dressing with shallots and caviar and exotic liquors such as Sagatiba. Sensuality is achieved through lighting, silence, breezes and music, strong menus, moorish surfaces and temperature controls. Design also includes staff uniform concepts; gauze saris or Bedouin style camouflage. Candles are deep red and browns to compliment woods and strong geometric shapes. There is even a mandela pattern in the black concrete. As an Angel you look down on the world, as a Demon... you look down and see yourself! The bar is continued from inside and is only different in colour and in materials. It stops at the pool, which is finished in black cement and lit from within. Tables and chairs are strong South Asian colours, textures and woods. They are strong in shape with the ability to adapt to smaller and larger parties. A couple and a crowd have to be able to indulge equally. Sparse and open with texture and flavour. Rich sensuous colours and powerful details (edible menus, flavoured syrup inks on soybean and cornstarch paper) make for a bold statement in outdoor indulgence. In direct contrast to Angels inside, Demons, is a concept that owns the patron at first sight with something much harsher than love ... and that is... lust! Opposing Angels in every way, Demons, is the outdoor concept dedicated to the pleasures of being led. Boat moorings face the black concrete finish bordered by cabanas and candelabras that inspire both privacy and passions only available in paradise!...
